PEN is acronym of Production Effectiveness Navigator.
The PEN project has the goal to provide medium-size manufacturing enterprises with efficient methods to conduct mid-term planning of their production programme in integration with the development of the production resources and to develop a software prototype that implements these methods together with the data warehousing and interfacing technologies that are essential for this purpose. The Consortium is led by the Turkish HISBIM and includes Next Systems Kft (Hungary), IT Vision S.P. zoo (Poland), Baltic-Amadeus, (Lithuania) and the Research Institute for Mathematics of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
